Foundations of Coaching (FC)

Intro

FC - The Foundation Course

The FC course offers the opportunity to build a base in coaching at highest international standards:

  • The course was specifically designed for a global business clientele, focusing on cultivating presence, intuition, and emotional intelligence — the uniquely human abilities that no machine can replace.
  • This program leads to ACC-level coaching skills (ICF Level 1 accreditation) and already goes deeper than most foundation programs, as we work at the  root-cause level of personal development.
  • It provides a direct path to continue into the BIA Level 2 program, where you can qualify for the  ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential — creating a seamless transition toward advanced professional certification.
  • Designed and facilitated by several experienced international executive coaches, exposing you to different coaching styles and perspectives.
  • The course is intensive and highly interactive, conducted in small groups of only 6–10 participants to ensure personal feedback and individual growth.
  • Throughout the course, you gain access to state-of-the-art coaching methods and frameworks used by internationally recognized executive coaches.
  • You can apply for the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential after completing 100 hours of coaching practice.
  • The course is offered in two formats:
Spring (in-person) in an inspiring retreat setting

    –  Fall (fully online) with the same level of interaction and depth.

This program prepares you to begin your coaching journey with confidence — whether your goal is to become a professional coach or to lead with a coaching mindset in a profession where human relationships are key.

Course overview

Benefits offered throughout the course

1

Coaching as part of your professional life

You love to work with people and want to support them in their growth, as a leader or as a coach.

You love to help but you don’t know how to do this in a professional way without over-using your resources.

You could see yourself working as a coach professionally, either besides your current role or fulltime in the future once you’ve deepened your coaching experience

2

Positive impact on people around you

You will develop a heightened awareness of yourself and others. You will more easily recognize emotions and unspoken messages, allowing you to respond with greater sensitivity and precision to others’ needs. This leads to stronger, more authentic relationships—both at work and in your personal life.

3

Personal Growth

To truly help others, you need to help yourself first. Only when you know yourself can you tell what your own reaction is and what is truly coming from your coachee in a session.

On your journey to becoming a coach, you will be coached extensively. This is your chance to explore the questions you have always wanted to work on. Your great peers will coach you, supported by the best supervisors.

You will come to know and appreciate yourself deeply. This is a condition sine qua non for effective and authentic coaching.

Becoming a coach

Your journey

Becoming a coach entails much more than learning professional coaching techniques. It certainly involves the careful study and practice of these methods. But it also calls for developing a true coaching mindset, one grounded in deep respect for each and every coachee. This non-judgmental attitude opens the door to greater inner freedom. Most alumni describe our program as a transformational experience, both personally and professionally.

Why us

Our coaching philosophy

Our coaching approach lifts the situational issue to the personal level. Thereby we drive a true personal development which enables the coachees to not only master the situation they’d like to solve right now, but to also discover themselves and develop tools so that they can efficiently handle new challenges that may arise in the future.

This approach requires a true interest in the person you are coaching and an extended understanding of inner dynamics.

What is Human Partnering?

Human partnerning is a method in which the executive coach interacts with you. A form of coaching, if you like.

“Coaching” has become a commodity that you can purchase with ease on online platforms. This common form of coaching aims to help you solve the problem of a situation you are currently facing or let you gain some new skills. It does not aim for the deeper personal level because this is “too personal” – or, in a way, too scary.

Then there is a whole industry of “wellness coaching”. Taking time off in a luxurious offsite, finding your inner self, hugging trees. Nice. Yet all too often, this relaxation evaporates in the “real world,” in which you face a multitude of challenges, be it in your profession, your relationships, your family, and the social fabric you have woven around you. These are challenges you have chosen to face, often cheerfully, and they deserve to be taken into account.

Human Partnering takes a different approach. It partners with you to address the most personal issues. The coach accompanies you and supports, at the right moment, to discover, address, and gradually resolve the hidden – and sometimes not so hidden – topics that are of real importance to you as a person. The coach will then return with you to the concrete situation that currently occupies you and help, if required, to apply what has been found on a more fundamental level to the concrete issue at hand.
