coaching training

State of the art

Your coaching education is conducted by multiple experienced coaches

A world class education is guaranteed through learning from several experienced coaches (MCC and PCC accredited).

You will be taught from trainers from a variety of backgrounds which creates a unique and well-rounded learning experience.

We are accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the biggest global certification institute.

Fast track to personal accreditation with the Level 2 program: you are able to get your ACC after only 100 hours of practice and your PCC after another 400 hours of practice from the ICF with this diploma and an ICF online test.

International business people and inspiring individuals from a multitude of backgrounds are your peers: you learn to coach with your future target group.

You will be surrounded by ambitious participants and enjoy an environment of high learning intensity.

Our course comprises three intense, on-location workshops of four days each (only 6 working days). The rest of the program is conducted in short virtual meetings.

The set-up makes it possible to participate in the program alongside a full-time, demanding job.

Coaching via video call is one of the most widely used formats today. In our course, you will learn how to coach effectively in virtual settings, while also experiencing the depth of in-person coaching.

You will practice with peers, with external clients referred through your fellow participants’ networks, and with members of NGOs from our own partner network.

All coaching takes place in English, helping you build confidence in the global language of the profession. You can always return to your native language when needed. Sub-groups can also be conducted in German, and the final exam may be taken in German if preferred.

The 9-month period gives participants time for their own personal development and allows them time to master all the learned skills.

The final exam will be a full coaching session with a peer in which you demonstrate your coaching skills at PCC level. We want you to succeed at your highest potential. Retakes are possible within six months, each subject to a small fee.

Becoming a coach

Your journey

Becoming a coach involves more than just learning professional techniques. It requires consistent practice, reflection, and the development of a genuine coaching mindset, built on deep respect for every individual.

Our training is designed to help you develop exactly this mindset. Through guidance, feedback, and practice, you will learn to embody a non-judgmental presence that opens the door to greater inner clarity.

Many of our alumni describe the program as a personally and professionally transformational experience.

Journey BIA
Our philosophy

True development of the individual

Our coaching approach lifts the situational issue to the personal level. We encourage and support true personal development that enables the coachee not only to master the current situation, but also to learn about themselves as a person in the process.

By doing so, the coachee becomes better equipped for future challenges. This approach requires genuine curiosity about the person you are coaching and a developed sensitivity to inner dynamics.

In times when AI is taking over more and more tasks, what remains distinctly human are the conversations that matter. Being fully present, noticing what is not said, and asking the question that someone is avoiding are skills that cannot be automated. They are what we intentionally practice in this program. And they are becoming essential, not just for coaches, but for leaders, team leads, and professionals across every field.

Practice is key

We support you in getting started

A key part of our course is gaining experience from real coaching relationships. Finding coaching clients might be challenging in the beginning, but we support you in getting started.

Through our close cooperation with several high-profile partners and pro-bono initiatives, we support you in getting interesting coaches to work with, so you can collect your coaching hours while also supporting great causes.

What is Human Partnering?

Human partnerning is a method in which the executive coach interacts with you. A form of coaching, if you like.

“Coaching” has become a commodity that you can purchase with ease on online platforms. This common form of coaching aims to help you solve the problem of a situation you are currently facing or let you gain some new skills. It does not aim for the deeper personal level because this is “too personal” – or, in a way, too scary.

Then there is a whole industry of “wellness coaching”. Taking time off in a luxurious offsite, finding your inner self, hugging trees. Nice. Yet all too often, this relaxation evaporates in the “real world,” in which you face a multitude of challenges, be it in your profession, your relationships, your family, and the social fabric you have woven around you. These are challenges you have chosen to face, often cheerfully, and they deserve to be taken into account.

Human Partnering takes a different approach. It partners with you to address the most personal issues. The coach accompanies you and supports, at the right moment, to discover, address, and gradually resolve the hidden – and sometimes not so hidden – topics that are of real importance to you as a person. The coach will then return with you to the concrete situation that currently occupies you and help, if required, to apply what has been found on a more fundamental level to the concrete issue at hand.
